GENERAL:
1. Can I buy a car as a private buyer?
Yes, you can. We welcome both professional and private buyers. However, as we may not be familiar with the laws and regulations in your country, we are unable to offer advice on importing to your country or take to any responsibility for legal problems incurred as a result of privately importing vehicles.
Depending on the country, it may not be possible to import some vehicle models. We suggest that you to check the registration laws in your country before placing the order.
2. Can I buy vehicles which are not listed on your stock list?
Yes, you can. Please send us the details of vehicle(s) you are looking for and your shipping information through the inquiry/order form on the INQUIRY page or email/fax.
3. Do you give any warranty for the vehicles?
No, we don’t give any warranty, but we disclose any interior/exterior damage, the distance the car has been driven, etc. We report this information in accordance with our vehicle grading system (Inspection grade) by our inspector after doing general maintenance, so you can understand the condition of the car you are buying.
4. Do you accept cancellation?
If you cancel after you paid all the payment, 60% of total payment you paid is not refunded. And all the cost (ex. Bank Charge etc.) is deducted form the refunded amount. After we confirm the shipment, no money will be refunded.
5. Who operates Quality Cars Japan?
“Quality Cars Japan.com” is operated by Meiho Tsusho Corporation of Kirix Group. Meiho Tsusho Corporation is one of seven automotive specialized affiliates of Kirix Group, particularly in charge of the trade role in this group. The business includes exporting used cars, supplying automotive parts, importing and selling healthy foods etc.

We have a team:

Netz Toyota Higashinagoya Co., Ltd., an authorized dealer of Toyota Motor Corporation supplying Toyota and Lexus trade-in cars to “Quality Cars Japan.com”.
Kirix Lease Co., Ltd., the first company made out car lease with full-maintenance service in Japan, supplying ex-lease commercial cars to “Quality Cars Japan.com”.
Meiho Tsusho Corporation, through “Quality Cars Japan.com”, supplies high quality and safe used cars well-selected from own sources of Netz Toyota Higashinagoya and Kirix Lease to customers in the world.

6. Are Quality Cars Japan, Meiho Tsusho Corp., Kirix Group trustworthy? Kirix Group companies are trustworthy company because:

- We have been in used car business since 1960.
- We are a member of JUMBEA (Japan Used Motor Vehicle Exporters Association), YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization) and Nagoya-kita Rotary Club.
- Our group’s Netz Toyota Higashi Nagoya is an authorized dealer of Toyota Motor Corp. they sold 6,400 cars in 2011 in Japanese market.
- Our group’s Kirix Lease co., ltd. is first company made out car lease with full-maintenance service in Japan. It has 22,000 lease cars with over 1,700 companies.

1. How can I confirm the vehicle’s condition?

All of our stock is inspected by professional mechanics, and the condition of each vehicle is on the Vehicle Information Sheet on the web site. Our vehicle’s condition is graded as below.

Trade Terms:
1. What is FOB (Free on Board)?

FOB (Free on Board): The seller delivers the goods on board the vessel at the named port of origin (loading) at the seller’s expense. The buyer is responsible for the main carriage/freight, cargo insurance and other costs and risks.

2. What is CIF?

CIF (Cost Insurance and Freight): The seller insures the cargo and delivers the goods to the named port of destination (discharge) at the seller’s expense. The buyer is responsible for the import customs clearance and other costs and risks.

3. What is CRF/C&F?

CRF (Cost and Freight): The seller delivers the goods to the named port of destination (discharge) at the seller’s expense. The buyer is responsible for the cargo insurance and other costs and risks. The term CRF was formerly written as C&F. Many importers and exporters worldwide still use the term C&F.

Payment:
1. How can payments are made?

We currently accept payment via bank wire transfer (T/T) only, and are not able to accept payment by credit card or other methods.
Please note that all bank transfer charges should be paid by the buyer.

3. Do you accept credit card payment?

No, we don’t. Credit card payment is currently not acceptable.

4. Do you deal with foreign currencies?

You can pay in either Japanese Yen or US Dollar.

5. Do you accept L/C?

No. Currently, we accept payment only by T/T.

6. How can I see the prices in my currency?

You can convert either Japanese Yen or US Dollar to other currencies by using currency converter http://www.xe.com/ucc

7. What are your payment terms?

Payment must be made in either Japanese Yen or US Dollar by T/T. Payable currency is specified in the Proforma Invoice.
Payment must be confirmed at our Japanese bank until the Payment Due Date specified in the Proforma Invoice. If the payment is not received as outlined above, the order will be automatically cancelled.
To avoid such cancellation, we suggest you to send us the bank receipt via fax as a proof of T/T, upon completion of the remittance.

8. Do you offer credit?

No, we do not. We will make arrangements to ship your vehicle(s) only after full-amount receipt of your payment is confirmed by our bank.

Shipping:
1. How much does it cost for shipping?

Shipping charges are different by shipping company and changes depend on season, fuel charge and etc. The exact freight cost will be specified on our proforma invoice.

2. When should I pay shipping cost?

Payment of shipping cost should be completed prior to the shipment. In case of CFR or CIF, which includes shipment cost, we will ship the vehicle(s) upon completion of payment.

3. Can you provide information on shipping schedule?

Yes, we can. We will inform you once the booking for your vehicle shipment is confirmed.

4. Can I insure my shipment?

Yes, you can. If you indicate during the order process that you wish to insure your shipment, we can arrange insurance for you at extra charge. Also, CIF includes the insurance cost for shipment.

5. How long will it take to receive the vehicle I order?

Depending on the destination, it usually takes about three (3) to five (5) weeks from when the vehicle leaves the port in Japan. We have tie-up with different shipping companies for different destination ports. We use best shipping options for destination ports as per services.

6. Which documents will I receive?

We will send the following documents to you the consignee address or indicated clearing agent by Express Mail or Currier Service immediately after vehicle shipment:

  • Bill of Lading
  • Commercial Invoice
  • Export Certificate (Japanese & English transferred copy)

If you need any other documentation to import vehicle(s) to your country, please indicate before placing the order.

7. Can I track my documents once they have been dispatched?

Yes, you can track your documents. We usually use DHL for sending documents. They provide a tracking number on each package. You can use the number to track the package on the DHL tracking system.

8. What is the customs clearance process?

Once the vehicle arrives at the port, it will be your responsibility to perform customs clearance. If you are not in a position to clear the vehicle personally, you can hire a local agent to perform customs clearance. Please contact your local clearing agent for the necessary steps to be followed well in advanced of the arrival of the vehicle.

9. What will I have to pay once I receive the vehicle?

Upon reception of the vehicle, you will have to pay port clearing costs, import duties and taxes and any additional fee requested by your country or by the port of destination. For more details, please confirm with local authorities or a clearing agent.

Others:
1. How many keys are provided with the vehicle?

Every vehicle is provided with at least one key. When spare keys available, we will send them together with the vehicle.
